Our Company History

Kalkan Brush was established in 1954 under the name Bilunum Brush. Significant steps were taken with the production of the first strip brush, vacuum cleaner brush, and carpet brush. Over the years, various products such as dental disk brushes, barrel cleaning brushes, and hair brushes with mace were produced. In 1988, the first coiled cylinder brush was manufactured, followed by the first door brush strip in 1992, and the first glass washing brush in 1995.

The 2000s began with the transition to CNC technology, with the production of the first 5-axis brush in 2003, the first CNC-produced cylinder brush in 2004, the first abrasive cylinder brush in 2005, and the first ceramic brush in 2006. Leadership in the industry continued with the first local timber patina brush in 2010 and the use of the MSF system in 2012. Technological development continued with the production of the first local 5-axis brush machine in 2020 and the first local chain-type brush machine in 2024.
